"Traditional Clothing for the Modern Muslim"
Assalamalaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakathu,
We owe a debt of gratitude to our progenitors at Islamic Outfitters who embarked on their vision, established the foundation of this clothing line, and in whose footsteps we follow. If not but for the pre-destination by Allah, and the generosity of the creators of this clothing line, we would not have had this incredible opportunity on our hands.
While working on establishing the principles of Islamic lifestyle for themselves, the Islamic Outfitters family had set out to secure the services of an expert tailor from East Asia to hand craft garments with the mindset of applying principles of modesty and emblems of Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad Sal Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam as recommended by scholars in the region. It is not only the handwork of this tailor and his team, but their heart and soul that also goes into the cutting and stitching of the fabric to construct these dresses. Our elderly tailor personally picks each fabric to ensure that it is both appealing to look at, as well as carrying high quality: that it is strong, yet soft; comfortable, yet durable. We have enjoyed hours of time in discussion with this noble character who continuously makes Dua and engages in the Dhikhr during discussion and in the artisanal craft.
The IO family had been active in providing these passionately crafted garments to the North American market for more than a decade before handing over the reins to us. Alhamdulillah, it is a great honor and pleasure to be able to continue the legacy of Islamic Outfitters. We wish, Insha Allah, to continue to provide these garments to the Muslims of today and tomorrow, who wish to dress modestly, and with sincere intentions of emulating the principles of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad Sal Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam.
Jazakum Allahu khayran,
